Hello, HELLO!!  Welcome aboard the Paper Pretties Release Party Train!  If you've come from Jane's blog, you are in the RIGHT PLACE!

Here is my card, featuring this AWESOME kitty.  It's called "Hang in There".  So fun!!  This set is in the Cute Critters category and was drawn by the multi-talented Victoria Case.  I love him!  Improvise, adapt, and overcome, right??  ;-)  I forgot to take a picture of it, but I stamped the sentiment "Dream Big" on the inside.  SO perfect!

I colored this sly devil with Copic markers and added Mono Aqua glue to the fishbowl to make it shiny.  The ribbon is May Arts, paper is Basic Grey.

Ok, well no release is complete without FREE STAMPS for you beautiful stampers out there.  Leave a comment here on this post for a chance to win this set.  I will choose a winner after 5 PM on Sunday night, September 26th.  A list of winners will be posted on the Paper Pretties blog on Sunday night.  You can shop safely, because if you happen to be the lucky winner and have already purchased this set, you can choose any other equally priced set from the Prettie Boutique.  Sweet deal!!

Something Fun From JessicaLynn

Thursday already?!  Time flies, doesn't it?

I have a card to share today that I made "just because".  Love when that happens!  Long-time blog visitors may remember that awhile back I was on the JessicaLynnOriginal Design Team.  I had to step down due to "La Vida Loca", but I still have my JLO stamps - Jessica Lynn is a sweetheart and she's got a great variety of images to play with.  She sent me a few digis the other day, and I started out making this card:

I love this scene!  It's called "When the Sun Goes Down in the City".  So cool and unique.  I printed this image onto PTI white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers.  After I had it all colored up nicely, I went through with my W1 Copic and "dirtied it up".  It's a big city after all - it's not crisp and clean!  I paired it with BRAND NEW Basic Grey patterned paper and viola!  Lime Green Stickles on the edges of the Pinking Circle (Nestabilities).

This is a sketch too!  Card Patterns for this week (#82) - nice one ladies, thank you!

Sentiment is from one of the new release sets for Paper Pretties.  They are coming your way TOMORROW, September 18th!!  Be back here for our new release blog hop!

Prettie Preview - CLUCK II

Happy Monday to all my stampin' friends!  I hope you had a good weekend!!  Today is a TWO POST kinda day, I have my regular {Little Paper Shop} Monday Challenge card, along with a special PREVIEW for the September Release over at Paper Pretties!!  I can't believe it's time for the second release already!!  We have so many great sets coming your way, you will not BELIEVE the cuteness.  :)

My preview today is for Cluck II.  Chicks Rule!!

This week our challenge is to used Glitter Dotspearls, or rhinestones (keyword: PWC119).  Glitter Dots are one of my favorite embellishments!!!  They add so much, they are cheap, fast and easy.  I put mine on using Mini Glue Dots.

I used a sketch for this project, Taylored Expressions #128 (TESC128).  I just love the look on this little chicken's face.  TOO FUN!!  The chicken wire you see in the background is a stamp too!  Yes it is!  Perfect for making backgrounds of any size, you can line it up and stamp all the way across the paper.  Love it!

I was also thinking of the Card of the Week challenge when I created this project.  The challenge this week is to create a "Thinking of You" card.  I like this sentiment because it's simple and you can send the card to anyone - for any reason.  Thanks Susanna for the challenge!

We are smack in the middle of previews, they'll be happening all week on the Paper Pretties blog and the individual blogs of the Prettie Girls.  FRIDAY is release day, and we'll be back here with a blog hop!  You still have time to participate in the current Prettie Wednesday Challenge - use rhinestones, pearls, or glitter dots.  You have until tomorrow night to link up on the Paper Pretties blog for a chance to win Prettie stamps!

See you back here Wednesday for a new Prettie Challenge!  Thanks for stopping by!

I can think of someone else who's probably pretty glad for today!  One of our very own Prettie Girls, Jessica George, has a birthday today!  We are honoring her in true Paper Pretties fashion with a birthday blog hop and lots of love and wishes for an amazing day.  Jess, I hope it's a fabulous day filled with family, friends, and STAMPING.  :)  Here's the card I made for Jessica, featuring the Paper Pretties stamp set Imagine.

PWC118 - Get Your Brads On!

Happy Wednesday! Are you ready for the Prettie Wednesday Challenge?! I bet you are!  If you play along with us you could WIN!   Check out the Paper Pretties Blog for all the details!

This our challenge (keyword: PWC118) is EASY PEASY!!  All you have to do to participate is to use brads or eyelets on your project!!  I love it!  And of course, link up on the Paper Pretties Blog to enter.  Here is my contribution using Dog-Gone Birthday.  I love this set!!  It's the first time I've inked it up, I was so busy with all the fantastic new Sophia and Cooper stamps, but Paper Pretties' newest illustrator, Victoria Case, does Cute Critters to PERFECTION.  I am going to be using this little guy a LOT.

I used a sketch today, this is the current one from PaperCraft Planet (sk090410).  It was just perfect with my little dog image for today.  Thanks for all the inspiration girls!

Once again, I did an amazing thing, and used OTHER THAN Copic Markers for coloring!  How crazy!  :)  This is Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol, just like yesterday's card.  I also mentioned yesterday that Heather has some Prismacolor Pencils on sale in the Clearance Section of the Prettie Boutique for dirt cheap.  Check it out!

Patterned paper is Basic Grey - Max and Whiskers.  Fitting, right?  Cardstock is from PTI.

Thanks for stopping by today!  We have changed the PWC format so it's no longer a blog hop, head over to the Paper Pretties Blog for a full list of the day's eye candy and all the challenge (and PRIZE) details!  You link up THERE for your chance to win!

Prettie Pam's Birthday!

Hello and happy Tuesday!  I hope everyone had a great Labor Day Weekend.  You may remember that on Saturday, Prettie Girl Pam Varnell had a birthday!!  Of course, we celebrated, Paper Pretties style, with a blog hop.  Since I didn't write it down in my stamp calendar...I didn't have a card.  But I got a few minutes last night to make one, so Happy Belated Birthday Pam!!  You are a stampin' rockstar, and I am very jealous of your Copic Marker collection.  :)  Here's my card, featuring Just Because Zac.

Can you believe -- I colored with something other than Copic Markers today?!  I used Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol for today's project.  Heather actually has some Prismacolor pencils in the Prettie Boutique (Clearance Section) for $0.50 each if you need to pick up any more for your collection!!  That's a heck of a deal!  I paired Zac with this great Memory Box Beach 6x6 paper, I am just about out of it I've used so much!!  Great colors and patterns, a really versatile paper pack if you're looking for some color.

I also used our current Prettie Wednesday Challenge (PWC117) - it's a sketch!  You still have some time to enter, get your card done by the end of the day and link up on the Paper Pretties Blog, and you could win FREE STAMPS!!

That's it for me today, I hope you have a great start to your week, I'll see you back here tomorrow for a new Prettie Wednesday Challenge!
